At NeuroPathways Rehab & Wellness, our Fayetteville in-person clinic provides specialized neurologic physical therapy for individuals seeking hands-on, comprehensive care close to home. Opening February 1, the clinic was created to meet the growing need for advanced neuro and concussion rehabilitation in the Fayetteville community.
In-person care is ideal for individuals who benefit from direct assessment, guided movement, and hands-on treatment. We work with people recovering from stroke, concussion or brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, as well as those experiencing dizziness, balance and gait difficulties, or neurologic changes affecting daily function.
Each plan of care is highly individualized and rooted in evidence-based practice. Treatment focuses on improving movement, balance, coordination, strength, and confidence—while supporting safe, meaningful return to daily activities, work, and life roles.
At NeuroPathways, you’ll receive focused, one-on-one care in a calm, supportive environment, with treatment guided by advanced neurologic expertise and a commitment to long-term outcomes—not rushed visits or one-size-fits-all programs.

This depends on the insurance you have and if you have out of network benefits, but YES, most patients in NC can send "self-claims" to their insurance company Physical Therapt treatments at NeuroPathways. You should be able to print claim forms from your insurance company's website, and submit them with the needed receipts and treatment codes on a "super bill" that will be provided upon request and made available in your patient app.
The amount of reimbursement or application towards your deductible is dependent on your insurance plan. If you call your insurance company to inquire about what you can expect to receive, you should ask about reimbursement for "out-of-network Physical Therapy" expenses sent in via self-claims.
Your superbill will allow you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Your therapist will spend time with you going over your medical history, details about your functional goals, and your needs for treatment. They will then perform a comprehensive physical assessment focused around the movements and activities that you are limited with. Together, you and your therapist will come up with a treatment plan for your recovery and go over any educational components that can be helpful for starting your journey.
In the state of North Carolina, no referral is needed to see a Physical Therapist in most cases. Some insurance plans will require visit authorizations. If you question your need to see your doctor first, feel free to call us to discuss!
